16th December, 2018

It was early Christmas celebrations for inmates at Lang’ata Women Prisons, when women drawn from various Presbyterian churches, under the umbrella body of Women’s guild, visited the correctional facility and showered gifts to the inmates.

Former Nakuru woman representative, Mary Mbugua, who led the delegation, highlighted the need for the judiciary and the government to consider pardoning inmates who have been behind bars for long and have transformed to allow them integrate back into the community.
