There was shock and disbelief after a man in Mogotio murdered an elderly woman and injured three other people in unclear circumstances. David Kipsang allegedly broke into the mud walled house and attacked the 90 year old Rebecca Toiyoi at 4 in the morning. Family members say the suspect entered the house through a window and slit her throat. The suspect further attacked three other people including his brother leaving them with serious injuries. Locals say the man was a casual worker at the homestead and it is not clear why he attacked the elderly woman. The 33 year old is currently being held by police.
