TRANSITION: Woman with skull preserved in the stomach dies

In october last year, we aired a story of a woman in Machakos County whose skull was being preserved in her stomach. The woman, Rose Mbula, passed on yesterday at her home. She had been in that condition for a period of five months, because her family could not raise enough funds required for an operation to reconstruct her skull after she was involved in an accident in India.
