In an effort to deter corruption in Kenya and make it less rewarding, a multi-agency taskforce has recommended that all assets of persons suspected of corruption must be traced and frozen. The attorney general says that the suspects property will be sold on conviction and the proceeds surrendered to the state under the assets recovery department. In an exclusive interview with KTN news, the Attorney General Professor Githu Muiga also disclosed that a fully constituted ethics and Anti Corruption Commission will be in place in a fortnight.
