In a week’s time, Kenyans will be marking Madaraka day, a day set aside to commemorate the day Kenya became a republic. Looking back, many are indebted to thousands of people who lost ther lives in the struggle for independence. Although there have been achievements, one thing is for sure, many Kenyans still feel that the battle is yet to be won.
