Young Muslim girls nabbed while on their way to join Al Shabaab

Police have smashed a syndicate in which young Muslim girls are lured into Somali under the guise of getting scholarships. This comes after three girls aged between 19 and 22 years were arrested at Elwak in Mandera County. The girls were allegedly carrying documents indicating that they were going to join an international university in Sudan. According to Mombasa county commissioner Nelson Marwa, the police discovered that the 3 girls were crossing into Somalia instead of the specified destination
