The tetanus immunization campaign in the country is safe. That is the verdict of a committee of experts investigating the safety of the vaccine following claims by the catholic church that it causes infertility in women. The committee gave a thumbs up to the tetanus campaign after only three out of 59 vaccination bottles tested for the infertility causing hormone turned positive. Experts however say they are yet to establish how the three positive vials with the same batch number as the 56 which turned negative were contaminated.
