10th January, 2015
The national assembly majority leader Aden Duale has proposed that primary and secondary education be devolved so that each county can deal with its own teachers instead of teachers having the power to paralyses education countrywide. Duale’s proposal comes after the end of the first week of the teachers’ strike that has made it impossible for schools to reopen. He was speaking in Garissa.
