Residents of Bondo town engage in Fish farming

Bondo has traditionally been a fishing town, with the entire economy rotating around the fish that is pulled daily from Lake Victoria. However, things are not looking very rosy. Fish yields have fallen more than 90% in the last 5 years, leaving the entire region hanging in the balance. But now fishermen in the region are exchanging their fishing nets for ploughs.
