22, Apr 2021

Kenya stands to benefit from key trade, transport and security deals it has signed with the democratic republic of Congo. Among the key areas of collaboration include partnerships in transport where Kenya airways and Congo airways have entered a partnership for aircraft maintenance. The new trade deals are expected to expand trade between the two countries which have remained significantly low following years of civil unrest in Congo. Ktn's deputy economy editor Aby Agina now looks at why there is renewed interest with DRC which boasts of rich mineral resources as well as a growing population.
