Treasury CS Ukur Yattani says Kenya will not default as debt ceiling hit sh.9 trillion mark

Kenya is not at risk of defaulting on its debt and has no plans for seek debt restructuring to aide in its repayment. This according to national treasury cabinet secretary Ukur Yatani who was appearing before the national assembly’s committee on finance and planning. Yatani says he is optimistic that the country’s debt indicators will improve once the economy re?opens and exports pick up. Ktn’s brian george begins our business broadcast.
