Vodacom set to discontinue its M-Pesa service in South Africa from July 2016

Vodacom is set to discontinue its M-Pesa service in South Africa at the beginning of July this year owing to low subscriber numbers to the mobile service. The South African telecom disclosed to Reuters that m-pesa failed to attract enough support in the home market with little or no prospects of achieving mass users in South Africa.
