Construction of the Greenfield terminal at JKIA suspended over financial constraints

To a story that has shaken the air transport industry in Kenya now the construction of the Greenfield terminal at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has been suspended over financial constraints. In 2011 the Kenya airports authority ran an international tender to expand the capacity of the airport to increase the capacity of the airport to 30 million passengers per annum and beyond.
