The climate summit in Glasgow COP26, which stands for the 26th "conference of the parties" and represents a gathering of all the countries signed on to the UN framework convention on climate change and the Paris climate agreement is underway. The summit brings parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris agreement and the un framework convention on climate change. Africa is not left behind in the climate change conversation. Despite being one of the lesser contributors to climate change the continent is not spared its effects.
