Standard Group Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich’s routine journey home took a terrifying turn Tuesday night when four armed men allegedly abducted him in Gilgil.

The attackers drove Kiprotich hundreds of kilometres before abandoning him at Ekalakala village near Masinga Dam.
