Principals in the United Opposition have challenged the government to arrest any opposition leader if it has credible evidence linking them to the recent violence witnessed across the country.
Led by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the leaders dismissed accusations that the opposition has been sponsoring unrest, maintaining that they remain committed to peaceful political engagement.
They vowed to continue demanding justice for families of Gen Z protesters who were killed during recent demonstrations, saying they will not be intimidated into abandoning their calls for accountability.
Their remarks come a day after Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen accused DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua of being the "king of violence" amid escalating political tensions over the recent protests.
