Nanyuki Erupts in Chaos as Residents Block Roads Over Planned Ebola Quarantine Facility

Tension remains high in Nanyuki town after residents staged protests against a government proposal to establish an Ebola quarantine and isolation centre at the Laikipia Airbase. The demonstrations brought business activities to a standstill, disrupted transport services, and saw major roads blocked as angry residents demanded greater public participation and transparency over the project. Protesters vowed to continue opposing the plan until their concerns are addressed by the government.
