ODM signals it won't demand DP's seat in pre-election talks

Questions are simmering within ODM after party leader Oburu Odinga signalled that the party will not push for the deputy president’s seat in pre-election talks with the ruling UDA party.

The remarks, directed at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, have ignited debate over what ODM will instead seek at the negotiating table and what this shift means for a party that has, for more than two decades, consistently fielded a presidential candidate.
