Opposition leaders have resumed joint activities with strategic meetings ahead of a major rally in Kisii on Monday. Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka hosted his colleagues in what insiders described as unity talks aimed at projecting a cohesive front amid rising individual campaigns. Among those present were former Deputy President and DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, ex-Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, Narc Kenya’s Martha Karua, DAP Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa, and former AG and DP leader Justin Muturi. Also in attendance were former minister Mukhisa Kituyi, ex-Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi, and Jubilee Party chair Torome Saitoti. After the meeting, Kalonzo and Gachagua posted similar messages on social media affirming their unity, declaring: “We are united in our patriotic duty to liberate our nation. We shall get this nation back on track together. God bless Kenya.”
