President William Ruto’s administration is facing mounting criticism from ODM leaders over what they term as a blatant failure to honor the 10-point agreement signed between UDA and ODM in March this year. ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has condemned the pact as “worthless,” citing a rise in abductions, extra-judicial killings, and disregard for human rights—violations that directly contradict the spirit of the deal. The MoU, which promised reforms in public service, youth empowerment, and respect for constitutional freedoms, now stands on shaky ground as ODM threatens to withdraw its goodwill.
