Teargas chaos disrupts ODM Linda Mwananchi rally in Narok

Tension briefly gripped Narok town after a political rally by ODM leaders allied to the Linda Mwananchi faction was disrupted by tear gas, sending supporters fleeing in panic.

The leaders, who had earlier attended a Sunday service at Covenant Church in Ntulele, had gathered to address residents on key political issues when security officers allegedly lobbed tear gas canisters into the crowd. The sudden turn of events cut short the rally, with sections of the public scrambling for safety.

During the meeting, the leaders had sharply criticized the government, accusing it of poor leadership and lack of accountability. They called for greater transparency ahead of the next general election, warning against any attempts to undermine the democratic process.
