RSF passport saga: Gachagua alleges more RSF officials may be residing in Kenya

27th February, 2026

Reports that a senior figure in Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, Algoney Hamdan Dagalo Musa, allegedly obtained a Kenyan passport enabling his international travel have sparked intense public debate. DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua now claims Algoney is not the only RSF-linked individual, alleging more commanders could be living in Kenya, some reportedly holding Kenyan passports. His remarks come as immigration authorities remain silent on how Algoney the younger brother of RSF commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also known as Hemedti, and a figure under United States sanctions acquired the travel document.
