Homa Bay Violence Suspect Abdi Sebu Goes Missing as Police Launch Manhunt

Police have launched a manhunt for Kassim Abdi Sebu, whom investigators have identified as the alleged ringleader behind the violence that disrupted Linda Mwananchi rallies in Homa Bay on Sunday.

Sebu reportedly failed to honour a summons by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to appear and record a statement over the chaos witnessed during the rallies.

Investigators are now seeking to locate Sebu as they probe the events that left political gatherings disrupted and raised concerns over escalating political tensions in the county.

His alleged links to influential figures and politicians in Homa Bay have also come under scrutiny as detectives pursue leads into the violence.

The manhunt comes as police intensify investigations into the circumstances surrounding the clashes and seek to establish those responsible for the disruption of the rallies.
