GOtv extends signal to Migori, unveils consumer campaign

NAIROBI, KENYA: Hot off the heels of the successful Dunga-Milli campaign which saw the crowning of 8 millionaires over 8 weeks, GOtv now launches GO Nayo!
The campaign which highlights GOtv’s variety programme offering as well as different bouquets available on the platform.
The new campaign was revealed to coincide with the extension of the GOtv signal and coverage to Migori. Starting from the June 25, Migori residents will be able to enjoy local and international programming in clear picture and sound quality that has long been synonymous with digital television.
Speaking at the launch, Migori County Governor Zachary Okoth Obado said he was excited to hear that GOtv will finally be available in the town of Migori and commends GOtv for being able to give access to digital television at an affordable price.

“The launch of GOtv will play a pivotal role and will contribute to easing the transition from analogue to digital television. The availability of GOtv in Migori, means that television viewers now have more choice, but most importantly, obtaining information will be that much more accessible as a result of the diverse programming that is offered on such platforms, such as news and documentaries from across the globe,” he said.
The Governor also urged consumers to take advantage of the affordable prices that GOtv has to offer. “since Kenya began the digital migration process, GOtv has been actively involved in raising awareness about the benefits of digital television and will continue to ensure that more people have access” said GOtv General Manager Felix Kyengo.
Some of the channels available to GOtv subscribers include Africa Magic World, Africa Magic Swahili, SuperSport Select 1 and 2, One Gospel, Telemundo, eTV Africa, ZEE World, Disney Junior in addition to local channels such as KBC, NTV, KTN, Citizen TV among others.
