Why do some people seem to have all the luck? How do I get to be lucky like them?
Unlucky

There is no easy way to tell you this. Because you are right, some people are lucky. It is because they work harder. And have developed the attitudes and habits that make the most of every opportunity.
Which means getting up earlier so you have more hours in the day. Playing to your strengths and focusing on what you do best. Managing your time and focusing on your priorities.
Putting off pleasures to practice and prepare. Always studying. Being active, independent, competitive and willing to take risks. Paying attention to the little things, making commitments and keeping them. Losers do exactly the opposite.
Learn the skills of talking to strangers. Because the more people you meet, the more opportunities will come your way. Almost every good thing that will ever happen to you will start with meeting someone new.
Winners notice more things. So listen hard, stay relaxed and receptive, and watch everything that's going on around you, rather than only looking for what you want to see. Seek out new people to meet, new places to go and new things to do. You never know what new opportunities will present themselves.
Listen to your intuition, because your subconscious is very good at picking up everything that is going on around you. The countless tiny gestures people make, for example. Leaving you with a 'gut feeling' as to whether they are real or not. Focus on the solutions, not on the obstacles.
Be tough and see the positive side of whatever is happening to you. Do not dwell on your troubles, and try different strategies whenever you fail. Do not do the same thing over and over again, somehow expecting different results.
So stop wishing for better luck. Instead, make your own! Work hard, meet loads of people, and be alert to every opportunity. And then you will be lucky!
All the best,
Chris
