In yet another episode of the fifth estate, young African scholars from the FortHall School of government and political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi describe deported National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna as a government’s project.
On Saturday's, March 31 episode, the analyst claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government deported Miguna, for the second time, in an attempt to make him a hero in place of National Super Alliance(NASA) Coalition co-principal Raila Odinga.
According to the group, Raila was lured to shake hands with the president on March 9 in order to distract him from his project,’the journey to Canaan’. The monumental handshake quietened him, putting him in political bondage.
To them, Miguna Miguna’s forceful removal from the country is to boost his political stature by blind siding Raila. By a second deportation, supporters already view the lawyer as a hero.
The analysts then said that the Miguna’s heroism project is apparent from the KES 200,000 penalty given to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and IG Joseph Boinnet and Immigration PS Gordon Kihalangwa.

“ Why were Matiang’i and Boinnet fined an embarrassing 200 for deporting Miguna. We expected more,” argued Mare X, a young lawyer.
Mutahi concluded by saying that the Raila, Uhuru handshake was meant to destabilize Raila, leaving his supporters out and alone. To them, Miguna was used as a hero to give supporters a new ‘Joshua’, scattering Raila’s supporters.
