It was a good day for experienced Millicent Wangui who won the ladies darts singles but later emerged runner-up in doubles as the curtains came down on the Chairman’s Cup at Chambers Resort in Nakuru city on Sunday night.
Wangui defeated international Selina Sakawa 4-3 in the best-of-seven series. “Yes, I have won but it has indeed been tough in the whole tournament. I’m glad it worked my way,” Wangui said.

In the women's doubles finals, Wangui, who teamed up with Mary Njenga, lost to Sakawa (Seline) and Florence Kipsogut in the round-robin matches finishing runners-up with three points.
