Police have temporarily closed the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway near Stem Hotel in Nakuru after a truck spilt oil on the road making it dangerously slippery.
Nakuru East Police commander Elena Kabukuru has said an alternative route for motorists plying the busy highway has been created for smooth flow of traffic.
Police officers have been deployed to the scene and are working with the fire brigade to clear the spillage, control traffic and prevent members of the public from collecting the spilt fuel.
