Form three student killed after fight breaks out at funeral disco

Security officials are looking into the death of a form three student who was killed on his way to a funeral disco in Kisumu county.
Elvis Odhiambo died on Sunday after being stabbed with a panga in a village in Kisumu County's Nyakach sub-county on Saturday night.
Odhiambo is from the Rachuonyo East Sub-county of Homa Bay County's Kodhoch West location.
According to reports, he used the proximity of Rachuonyo East Sub-county and Nyakach Sub-county to sneak away from home to attend the disco.
It is unknown what sparked the violence between the boy and his assailants.

Chief of Kodhoch West Location Charles Dete said the boy suffered serious head and stomach injuries.
After cutting the boy with a panga, the assailants, who appeared to know where he came from, carried and dumped him near a health facility in Rachuonyo East Sub-county while he was still alive.
He died while he was being transferred to Homa Bay County Referral hospital.
The body was taken to Okita mortuary in Rachuonyo East as police launched investigations.
