Brace yourself for light showers, says weatherman

There are chances of light rains in parts of Central, Nairobi, and Eastern in the morning and later in the afternoon in the next five days, according to the weatherman.
In Nairobi, temperatures will range from 32 to 06 degrees Celsius.
A five-day forecast by the Kenya Metrological Department predicted rain in most parts of the country.
According to the forecast with a validity of March14_18, Met Department Director David Gikungu noted the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the South and Central Rift Valley, Northwestern and some parts of the Coast and North-eastern regions will experience rainfall.
However, isolated storms are expected over these areas, except for the Coast, where light showers are expected.

On the other hand, the weatherman notes that most parts of the South-Eastern lowlands should remain generally sunny and dry.
The detailed weather forecast for several regions across the country indicates.
In the North-western which includes Turkana and Samburu counties, morning rainfall is expected over a few places, with the region likely to experience afternoon and evening showers over a few places.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be 12 degrees Celsius.
The Highlands East of the Rift Valley, including Nairobi County, which covers Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka and Nairobi counties, are likely to be partly cloudy with a chance of rain in a few places.
The region will experience maximum temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures of 06 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the Coast region, which includes Mombasa, Tana River, Kilifi, and Kwale counties, will
experience sunny intervals with a chance of rains over a few places in the afternoons.
The region will also be partly cloudy with mixed showers in a few places throughout the week, with maximum temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius.
