Amiran Kenya secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Astra Aviation in the Left Foot Sports Corporate league fixture played at Sikh Union Club Astro Turf over the weekend.
The 2022 league champions looked the better side from the onset and they took a deserved lead with only eight minutes played when Kevin Mwale scored from close range.
Zedric Mukhana then doubled the lead after a defensive lapse in Aviation’s goal mouth for a 2-0 lead at the half-time break.
At the start of the second half, Amiran continued to threaten their opponents for more goals and they were rewarded with the third in the 47th minute, this time Mukhana setting up Mwale, who rounded up the goalkeeper to slot home and earn a brace.
The victory pushed Amiran to fourth position on the log, though they have two games in hand against leaders NFT AutoSport Consortium.
