FC Talanta moved seven-points away from the relegation zone after picking their fifth win of the season in a narrow 1-0 victory over Bidco United in the only midweek FKF Premier League match played on Wednesday at Kasarani Annex.
December Kisaka's first half strike was enough to hand Ken Kenyatta's side maximum points to leapfrog Mathare United to 14th in the standings with 21 points.
The Slum Boys and the rest of the clubs will be on action on Thursday where eight fixtures will be on the cards across the country.
Speaking after the win, Kenyatta said he was happy the team is slosly picking up pace they really needed in their fight to avoid being in the relegation battle.

"It was important we win today. It has been a tough season for us considering wins have been scarce for us but am happy we are slowly getting there.
"Our main objective is to avoid the relegation zone since it's safe to fight from up than down," said Kenyatta.
Talanat also picked their second win in their last eight matches in the process, a bumpy run but that which sees them stay safe for now.
Bidco on the other hand remained 12th with 23 points and might drop further down pending Thursday's results.
