The government proponents yesterday drummed up support for President William Ruto's reelection owing to his sound development programmes across the country.
The proponents who pitched a tent in separate events at Maragua, led by Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki, warned Kenyans against falling prey to politicians playing deceptive politics, while they lack a meaningful development agenda for the country.
They further cautioned Kenyans against being incited to violence by government critics during the demonstrations.
"Don't allow those playing negative politics to deceive, as the government of President Ruto is committed to fast development in all parts of the country," said the DP.
He said all the ongoing development programmes, including road, electricity, water, among others, are scheduled to be completed before 2027.

Majority leader Kimani Ichung'wa and Nominated MP Sabina Chege said it would be unforgiving for Mt Kenya if they failed to support the government, despite development programmes initiated.
Kimani said the rivals are opposed to the government's agenda, without providing an alternative.
"The empowerment programme is part of fulfilling what we promised the people in 2022," he said.
Chege said the region has programmes that the public asked the government to initiate in efforts to uplift their living standards.
Others present were MPs Peter Kihungi (Kangema), Betty Maina (Murang'a), Eric Wamumbi (Mathira), Dr Edwin Mugo (Mathioya), among others.
