Basketball: KPA teams pick vital wins in Nairobi

Defending men’s Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Premier League champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) kicked off their title defense on a high note after seeing off Strathmore University Blades on Sunday.
KPA defeated Blades 59-46 in a tight match played at Nyayo Gymnasium to pick their first win of the 2022 season.
The Dockers will now hope to build on their opening season victory when they face off against African Nazarene University (ANU) at the same grounds on Sunday from 4pm East African Time.
KPA defeated Ulinzi Warriors 3-2 to win the 2021-2022 KBF Premier League title.
KPA signed Kenya Morans and Ulinzi Warriors star James Situma and Eugene Odera from Emyba who both can fill the void left by Wachira.
