University of Nairobi Dynamites is upbeat they can edge giants KPA when they host the former champions in the 2021 Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Women’s Premier League match to be played at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday.
Speaking to the Standard Sports, Dynamites captain Liz Okumu believes that if they play the game just like they would against any other team and not the name, they will be able to compete better.
“KPA is a strong team and we know they'll come even stronger, which now forces us to find a way to be better by the time we're meeting them. For now as a team we just need to keep sharpening our strong points and use that to our advantage,” said Okumu.
Leaders KPA will open their account against Strathmore today before facing Dynamites tomorrow.
“We need to remain focused and keep heads up because we still have some serious task ahead of us. The remaining matches are not easy ones, so it's working towards bettering ourselves for the upcoming matches,” added the captain.
