Mayweather unanimously wins the “Fight of the Century”

Floyd Mayweather was unanimously declared the winner and remained the undefeated WBC champion after Knocking out Manny Pacquiao in the “fight of a century” in a closely contested bout in Las Vegas today.
The highly anticipated fight believed to be the greatest in modern times went upto the 12th round with both fighters rarely throwing targeted punches to their opponent.
The two boxers didn’t pose a major threat to each other as compared with their previous fights where opponents has have been floored on various bouts.
Mayweather had total punches of 435 against Pacquiao 429 with 148 of Mayweathers punches landing on his opponent against 81.
Mayweather 38, who has won all his last 47 fights, 26 of which were knockouts was cosidered the favourite in a fight that started in a slow pace that seemingly outsmarted his opponents usual rapid punches by moving around the ring, and throwing blows at the Phillipines national discreetly. Pacquiao 36, also got his killer punches in the 2nd, 5th and 12th rounds when he cornered the Money man at the edge of the ring throwing vicious blows.

Pacquiao whom out of his 65 fights has won 57 of them 38 of which were knockouts loosing six and drawing twice could not believe the decision that he had lost. The Phillipine insisted that he thought he had won the match though it was unanimously decided that Mayweather had won the big fight in accordance with the fighting's stats.
