Smart ear device selects what you want to hear

Developers from a new tech firm known as Soundhawk based in the US have come up with a novel in-ear device known as Scoop that mimics a hearing aid, with the difference being that it aids those with normal hearing. The device enables one to filter out unwanted background noise and fine tune or elevate only those sounds they are interested in. The device is connected to the Soundhawk smartphone app via Bluetooth and using the app, the user can select their preferred audio profile that is best suited to the environment they are in. For instance, while driving a car, one can select the Driving profile, which is tuned to elevate only road noises.
