At least thirteen people have been killed in a road accident involving a matatu and a truck at Migaa on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Molo Sub-County Police Commander Timon Odingo said the deceased included eight men, four women, and a child.
Authorities said the truck driver lost control and rear-ended the matatu.
Migaa is a known accident blackspot on the highway.
The government previously built a median wall to separate traffic moving in opposite directions.
