Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have managed to arrest another suspect in connection with the murder of Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko.
The suspect, Duncan Onyango, alias Otuch, was arrested at his hideout in Bondo sub-county with detectives identifying his house in Luanda Doho, Kisa East in Kakamega County, as the location where the late was tortured before being brutally murdered.
"The Detectives investigating the case conducted a scene reenactment exercise with one of the previously arrested suspects, who identified the house of Duncan Onyango as the location where Ayieko was killed.
The body of Ayieko was recovered less than 400 meters from the suspect's house.
"The suspect is undergoing processing for arraignment in court," DCI posted on its X platform.

Earlier this week, DCI announced the arrest of another suspect identified as Fredrick Otieno Omondi, in connection with the murder.
On Thursday, November 1, police gunned down a suspect believed to have been involved in the killing of Ayieko.
The suspect was tracked down by detectives to a guest house near Kisumu Polytechnic, where he had been hiding. According to police, he was one of two people who escaped during a gunfight with officers in Gem.
A woman reportedly accompanying the suspects later succumbed to her injuries.
