Ulinzi's Neddy Akoth recalled to Harambee Starlets

Ulinzi Starlets prolific striker Neddy Akoth has been recalled to the national team, Harambee Starlets after almost three years in the cold.

Akoth is among the three Ulinzi players, who have made the cut in coach Charles Okere’s 31-member provisional squad for the upcoming 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) two-legged qualifier against South Sudan.

Goalkeeper Maureen Shimuli and striker Lucy Mukhwana are the other players from the recently crowned FKF Women’s Cup champions.

Starlets are set to report to a residential camp at Lamada Hotel tomorrow ahead of the two-legged encounter to be held in Nairobi on October 20 and 24 respectively.
