Nakuru RFC raid rivals Oilers for players

Nakuru RFC have raided next door neighbours Menengai Oilers and Mwamba RFC as they strive to bolster their squad for the ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/sports/rugby/2001400580/kenya-cup-action-returns-in-february-no-spectators-allowed-yet">Kenya Cup League season Kisumu RFC prop-cum-hooker Felix Opiyo has also joined Wanyore and started rigorous training three weeks ago under Kenya Lionesses head coach Felix Oloo with the assistance of veteran Jotham Owili. Nakuru RFC team manager Hillary Kisangi confirmed the development saying they were all fit to bolster the aforementioned departments in their quest to win the Kenya Cup title, which was last in their cabinet in 2014.
"They have joined us and promised to give their best and we have given them an assurance of incorporating them into our system as we look forward to lift the title," Kisangi said. "We have allowed him (Ominde) to proceed with his wish of playing for Oilers where he is enjoying enough playing time and we wish him the best," Kisangi said. Nakuru RFC secretary general Edward Moseti confirmed the new development saying they were ready for the new season which has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
