Police in Naivasha are investigating an incident where the body of an unidentified man was found dumped off the Naivasha-Mai Mahiu road.

The victim's body had deep cuts and there were no identification documents at the scene near Fai's Den, some 10 kilometers from Naivasha town.

The incident came barely a week after another body was found dumped near Longonot town on the same road, with a section of the neck slit and the lower body burnt. The body was taken to a local mortuary awaiting postmortem.

Meanwhile, three of 13 students from Njonjo Girls High School who were involved in a road accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway on Wednesday have been referred to Nakuru PGH for specialised treatment.

Naivasha Sub-County Hospital Superintendent Dr Bernard Warui confirmed the referral, noting that the students' condition was stable.
