The Reds striker may have suffered ankle ligament damage, but Klopp was only able to confirm that there's no break ahead of further tests
Jurgen Klopp admitted Divock Origi's ankle injury put "a shadow” over Liverpool's emphatic derby win.
But the Reds boss hopes the in-form Belgium striker has avoided serious injury and will be back soon.
The starlet, 21, opened the scoring with a fine header for his 10th of the season before Mamadou Sakho made it 2-0 in first half stoppage time.
But Origi was then stretchered off after the break when Ramiro Funes Mori was red-carded in the 50th minute for smashing into his ankle.

Klopp, whose side added further goals from Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, said: “They say it is disgusting, awful pictures.
“It is a bit of a shadow on the game.
“Usually after a 4-0 I can't keep the smile off my face but we have to see what happens.
“We have to wait for an assessment.
“Everyone who saw the pictures thought it was broken but it is not.
“I went to the medical room and saw him smiling.
“The ankle is twisted so we have to wait to see what happens to the ligaments.”
He has now scored five goals in his last five games for the Reds, as he has helped revive the team's form as they bid for a European place.
His goal was shortly followed by a second goal in a week for Mamadou Sakho, before Daniel Sturridge - who replaced Origi - slotted home to make it three on the hour. Philippe Coutinho completed the rout when he fired home a fourth from distance with 15 minutes remaining, to cap what - aside from Origi's injury - was a highly successful night for the Reds.
Origi was only declared fit for the Merseyside derby the day before the game after missing training with a back injury.
It is understood he sustained that problem against Bournemouth at the weekend when he came on as a substitute for Roberto Firmino with 15 minutes to play.
Origi turned 21 on Monday and celebrated the occasion with a birthday cake at the Reds' Melwood training complex.
