Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte will embark on a campaign to get his side to qualify by topping group C as they seek to consolidate their grip on ‘simpler tie’ in round 16.
At his press conference before playing against Newcastle on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, Conte said that his team must prepare for a possiboility of being drawn against stronger sides such as Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s squad that will face Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge has been leaked.
David Luiz will be absent once more when Chelsea play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Luiz - like forward Charly Musonda - has a knee problem as Blues boss Antonio Conte aims to balance targeting a victory to top Group C with preparations for Saturday's trip to West Ham.
