Despite the chilly winds sweeping across the Limuru Country Club course on Thursday, the annual Limuru Ladies Medal brought together 40 ladies. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the elegant purple and white dress code, adding a touch of class to the day.

The standout performance of the event was Muthoni Njuguna, playing off handicap 15, who secured the Gross title with an impressive score of 91. Muthoni credited her success to a supportive environment created by her fellow golfers.

Vice lady captain Muthoni said:"I believe that playing in good company is the essential ingredient for success in a competitive yet friendly environment. My performance today was as a result of feeling relaxed and focused, thanks to the wonderful and supportive fellow golfers."
