The much-awaited Magical Kenya Ladies Open will be back next month.
In four weeks, the best professional golf players will battle for the top prize purse at the Magical Kenya Ladies Open, which is making a comeback after a two-year hiatus.
Golf fans and enthusiasts will be allowed to attend the upcoming event which will be held from February 10 to 13 at Vipingo Ridge's 18-hole Baobab course in Kilifi.
This follows consultations between the Government and the Ladies European Tour under which the Magical Kenya Ladies Open is organised.
Speaking during the announcement, event organizer Managing Director Dirk Glittenberg said spectators will be allowed to attend.
"We are pleased to announce that spectators can join us at this year's Magical Kenya Ladies Open next month following consultations with local authorities and the Ladies European Tour," he said.
On his part, Vipingo Ridge Chairman Alastair Cavenagh said the event will be full of fun.
"We must urge those attending to adhere to the Covid-19 containment measures that are put in place for the safety of everyone."
The tournament is the Ladies European Tour (LET) season opener for the 2022 season, with preparations in top gear to successfully host the event whose prize money is set at €300,000 (Approximately Sh38.8 million).?
