Celebrated Croatian coach Zdravko Logarusic  will be offered a one year deal at former football giants AFC Leopards, Standard Sports can now authoritatively reveal.  According to the club, there is already an agreement on principle with the Croat and both parties have gone through the contract and what remains is to put pen to paper.

Club Deputy Secretary General Prof. Asava Kadima confirmed “We have agreed to engage Zdravko on a one year deal for now. The contract also allows us to open negotiations with him to extend his stay for a further three years after the lapse of the first one.”

On doing a good background check on Logaruši?, Prof Kadima said they have researched extensively on him and been in talks with all his former employers to ascertain credibility. The headline-hungry Croat will not be a stranger to Kenyan football having spent a whole year from June 2012 to the same period in 2013 at Champions Gor Mahia. While there, he’s credited with leading an overhaul of the team’s system of football and remembered for his never-ending feuds with club administration, players he called lazy and his undying appetite for headlines.

Logaruši? is expected to arrive in Kenya on Thursday and will proceed straight to signing his contract before being unveiled at a colorful ceremony that the club is organizing.
