Chaos has erupted at Migori County Assembly after rowdy youths invaded the assembly's premises to smoke out MCAs they claimed are supporting Kenya Kwanza administration.
The MCAs who were targeted by the youths are among the leaders who accompanied president William Ruto last weekend during his development tour of Migori.
The youths claimed the MCAs insulted ODM leader Raila Odinga and accused them of spewing hate against the party leader.
In an incident that temporarily interrupted proceedings, the rowdy youth had started gathering outside the assembly premises as they hurled insults to MCAs they claimed had insulted ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Sensing danger, North Kanyamkago MCA George Omamba who was among the targets of the rowdy youth asked the speaker to assure him that he was safe. The speaker assured him of his safety.
However, moments later, the MCA stepped out of the assembly only to find a group of youths waiting for him.
The youths descended on him with blows and assaulted him in full glare of police officers manning the assembly. The MCA took to his heels and ran towards a police vehicle that had been parked in the compound and sought refuge in the car.
The youths overpowered police officers who were trying to protect him and ascended on him. One of the youths snatched the police car keys as the police officers struggled to retrieve the keys.
During the melee, West Kanyamkago MCA Peter Mijungu also met the wrath of the rowdy youth after he fled from the chambers and locked himself in one of the assembly offices.
The youths who shouted "how can you abuse Raila" surrounded the office and broke the door before leading him out in a hail of blows. Police intervened and drove the two to safety.
The assembly which had just come from recess had sat to table a number of reports including a report seeking for the removal of Omamba from the Chair of health committee segment.
