Aston Villa loan star Ross Barkley was reportedly kicked out of a central London bar earlier this week after becoming embroiled in a row with members of staff and customers.

Barkley has spent this season on loan at Villa Park from Chelsea, making 26 appearances and scoring three goals in the Premier League.

Pictures now show the midfielder looking worse for wear after reportedly being out with a friend at The May Fair Hotel.

It is claimed he was told to the leave the bar at 8pm, flailing his arms as he made his way to the exit before squaring up to a member of hotel security.

The Sun report that Barkley and his friend left briefly before returning to their table when they were again confronted by security and told to leave.

They state that the incident involving the former England star happened on Thursday, the day after Barkley was an unused substitute in Villa’s defeat of Tottenham.

It is also alleged that it happened in front of around 100 people, with Barkley ultimately leaving the five-star hotel.

A source said: “I first spotted him arguing with someone before it really kicked off.

“Then the security staff spotted him and they were escorted into the main foyer. It got heated. They were arguing. It almost got physical, with the bouncer just pushing them out of the way.”

Mirror Sport have contacted Aston Villa for comment, with Dean Smith’s side set to face Barkley’s parent club in their final fixture of the season.

The midfielder is understood to be unable to face the Blues due to the conditions of his loan move.
