Cruise ship with 700 tourists docks in the Port of Mombasa

A cruise ship carrying more than 700 tourists docked in the Port of Mombasa on Sunday, December 25 in what will be a major boost to the tourism sector.

Some of the tourists will visit the Tsavo East and Tsavo West national parks, whereas others will tour different sites in Mombasa.

The cruise ship, MS Nautica, which arrived from Seychelles, will be in Kenya for a day, and thereafter depart for Zanzibar.

Tourism Cabinet Secretary (CS) Peninah Malonza received the ship captain in Mombasa on Sunday.
